We created Date Box because life got busy
Before Date Box, there was a young family, a busy life—and two people who suddenly realised we had become very good at being parents… and slightly less good at being a couple.
So we decided to start dating each other again.
One of us was naturally talented—and extremely modest—at planning dates.
This same remakably humble individual was sentimental, remembered the little details, and had a knack for making ordinary moments feel meaningful.
The other loved the idea of sentimentality but had absolutely no clue what it looked like in practice.
Then came the sentence:
“I really wish I could plan a date like you.”
And Date Box was born.
Thoughtfully planned experiences that bring the ideas, atmosphere and meaningful details together—without one person carrying all the planning or sentimental heavy lifting.
Because you shouldn’t have to be naturally gifted at date night to make your person feel chosen.
